fun at ACC Kids
Where Kids Experience God's Love
We believe Christian community is a vital part of spiritual maturity and want to provide your children with every opportunity to grow in their faith. We offer a variety of programs to best facilitate Christian nurture for all ages. All of our classes and youth groups include study of the Bible, discussion of relevant issues, prayer and best of all - fun! Join us each week for Sunday School at 9 A.M. and Children's Church every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 10:30 A.M.
babies & Toddlers
Birth through age 3
We offer infant and toddler childcare during the Sunday School hour and 10:15 A.M. Worship Service. All of our volunteers are required to have their PA State childcare clearances and we use a secure check-in system. You will receive a buzzer to keep with you should we need your attention at any point during the service, and the number on your buzzer will correspond to your child's unique check-in number.
SUNDAY SCHOOL & CHILDREN'S CHURCH
4 years - 5th grade
At ACC, we offer a comprehensive curriculum designed to meet the needs of every child, providing various activities to foster spiritual growth and development. Our elementary school leaders actively engage with the children and continually find fun new ways to share the love of Jesus.
ACC Youth GROUP
6th - 12th grade
Our youth program is for students in middle and high school. It's our goal to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed and comfortable sharing. Our youth leaders prepare a lesson each Sunday morning in our youth room during the 9:00 A.M. Sunday School hour.
3rd - 4th Graders
Bible Adventure
Children in 3rd and 4th grades at Akron Elementary School are invited to Bible Adventure! Students are bused to and from the church during their lunch time (approximately 12 - 1 P.M.) every Thursday. During their time here at the church we eat lunch, have a Bible lesson, learn songs and Bible verses, play games or do crafts. This is a great opportunity for kids and we are always in need of dedicated volunteers.
*To sign up you must complete a registration form at the school.
TEENS
ACC Youth Group
Our youth program is for students in middle and high school. Along with our Sunday morning class during the Sunday School hour, we offer a variety of youth group activities throughout the year including service projects, fundraisers, Bible study and group activity nights.
The Youth Group also meets on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in the evening from 7:00-9:00 P.M. At Youth Group there is a time of bible study, games and of course a snack.
